We're open until we're closed!
I spotted this sign when traveling in northern climes, it screamed out at me, and i have no idea what its exact words were but they may have been something like this:The homegrown entrepreneurial spirit at its best, in the land of Americana. Welcome to cheap beer, rusty old machines, and dick's stuff.

Blondtex eh?
The Online 1930's to 1940's condom museum has about a dozen images of vintage condoms with relatively strange advertising. Some of these condoms are guaranteed for multiple year usage. I am not sure whether this implies the horror of a re-usable three year condom or that these items will not expire till three years. Either way they are cool to look at, blontex would never fly as a brand today, can you image Trojan advertising with a blond woman printed on the packaging and a name like blondtex?
Hell yeah
Image From RoadkillBuddha at FlickrFor all you Bubba Ho-tep Fans out there. If you don't already know director/writer Don Coscarelli is creating a fantastic sounding prequel to Bubba Ho-tep called "Bubba Nosferatu and the Curse of the She-Vampires" If you don't know about Bubba Ho-tep then you are seriously missing out on one of the greatest adventures of all time, where elvis and John F. Kennedy Jr. do battle with a mummy in an east texas rest home. Therefore you need to see this! Anyway the soon to be prequel sounds equally amazing and is sure to be a must see, i only hope that the above picture inspires and sequal to the original called, "Bubba Ho-tep and the mighty skunk-ape".
D Face: irony at its best
