James Bond Hells Yeah

Its 007 time again and nothing makes me want to commit deth defying stunts in a nice suit like a good James bond theme
Sexy in all aspects is the new movie "Quantum of Solace" the title alone sends a massive shiver of anticipation down my spine. I'm sure that as i walk out of the cinema i will once again ponder moving to the UK, obtaining citizenship, joining MI6 and kicking villain ass all over Europe... or maybe not.

Future Robot band. Today!

Better Luck Next Time
This just blows my mind. That two individuals could be so intelligent, articulate and creative. Oh please don't watch the whole thing.

Mongo!
Map Via Strange MapsHe faltered, seemingly reluctant to offer a reply. I had often discussed earth with him, given him earth old earth adages and sayings that even i was proud to have thought of. Yet here we stood in the hellish fury of Vultan's furnaces and all he could do was sit on the fence. Some obscure piece of wisdom resting in the old man's throat. I wiped my forehead as sweat attempted to obscure my vision. The orange flicker intensified, finally he spoke, "On Mongo we say, what the mind can't imagine, the body can do.".....
I found this map of Mongo, Strange times indeed.

We're open until we're closed!
I spotted this sign when traveling in northern climes, it screamed out at me, and i have no idea what its exact words were but they may have been something like this:The homegrown entrepreneurial spirit at its best, in the land of Americana. Welcome to cheap beer, rusty old machines, and dick's stuff.

Blondtex eh?
The Online 1930's to 1940's condom museum has about a dozen images of vintage condoms with relatively strange advertising. Some of these condoms are guaranteed for multiple year usage. I am not sure whether this implies the horror of a re-usable three year condom or that these items will not expire till three years. Either way they are cool to look at, blontex would never fly as a brand today, can you image Trojan advertising with a blond woman printed on the packaging and a name like blondtex?
Hell yeah
Image From RoadkillBuddha at FlickrFor all you Bubba Ho-tep Fans out there. If you don't already know director/writer Don Coscarelli is creating a fantastic sounding prequel to Bubba Ho-tep called "Bubba Nosferatu and the Curse of the She-Vampires" If you don't know about Bubba Ho-tep then you are seriously missing out on one of the greatest adventures of all time, where elvis and John F. Kennedy Jr. do battle with a mummy in an east texas rest home. Therefore you need to see this! Anyway the soon to be prequel sounds equally amazing and is sure to be a must see, i only hope that the above picture inspires and sequal to the original called, "Bubba Ho-tep and the mighty skunk-ape".
D Face: irony at its best

Just got this off of Dark Roasted Blend Site in their blog on senseless signage Image is credited to National Geographic. This is a beautiful example of simple irony voila!

Dingly Dangly Ostrich
This is pretty much the greatest name for a product I can ever think of. Sold on Piako Ostriches out of New Zealand the product is actually called "Dingly Dangly ostrich" and for only $8.00 plus outstanding shipping you can enjoy it's wonders as well!! I only wonder how this is both dingly AND dangly, otherwise it looks rather ruffed up.
